What to Do About ‘The Public Health Mafia’?

If we define ‘the mafia’ as an organisation which demands money ‘for protection’ (normally for protection against itself), then we have a good word to describe the charlatans who form ‘The Board of Directors’ of ‘The Public Health Industry’. The reason that we can use that word is because the whole Industry is claiming ‘protection money’ on the basis of promises of advantageous returns some time in the future. It is not obvious why these ‘advantageous returns’ for the ‘investment of protection money’ are always just over the horizon, but they are and always will remain so. The reason is that one successful ‘protection racket’ begets the the next ‘protection racket’. Thus, the subsidiary of the ‘Public Health Industry’ known as the ‘Tobacco Control Industry’ has almost run its course as a profitable enterprise. It is not done yet, but the end is in sight. That is because it is now unlikely that its rival organisation, the ‘ecig industry’, can either be taken over or crushed. Therefore, it is time to raise the next subsidiary to prominence. It is not certain which of the subsidiaries to run with as yet – it could be ‘The Alcohol Control Industry’ (plans already exist for that in Headquarters (the WHO)), or ‘The Salt Control Industry’ or ‘The Sugar Control Industry’. [We should note that ‘The Fat Control Industry’ has issues at the moment since much of it depends upon the ‘Sugar Control Industry’s’ performance] Trials are currently being run regarding the viability of these options (including surveys and research and media promotions).

So what can be done about the ‘Public Health Mafia’? By we fundless, friendless disgusting, filthy, stinking XXX (substitute ‘smokers’, ‘drinkers’, ‘fatties’ at will) – not a lot. But we CAN see a way in which the whole mafia could be eradicated. That way is to get them de-funded.

If ASH ET AL (I mean all the quack ‘Doctors’ (“honoris causa” like Nathanson), quack professors and quack ‘experts’) could be shown to be milking the public purse, or receiving benefits from Big Pharm and other commercial groups, then that would be a start. Who funds the ‘Framework Convention’ jamborees?  Who is paying the salaries of the quack ‘Doctors (“honoris causa”) and Professors? What part of the funds of CRUK, freely donated by individuals, often via legacies, is used to fund research other than research into the possible cures for cancer? Do any of the donors of funds to CRUK know that their money is being used to pay for propagandists and eugenicists? Do they know that they are paying for charlatans on the Board of Directors of “THE PUBLIC HEALTH INDUSTRY MAFIA”?

One might ask how deeply into the Public Health system of the UK the Mafia has penetrated. It seems to be very deeply. How else can one explain the undemocratic intention of the commercially funded organisation known as MHRA to regulate ecigs as medicines? Where did that commercially funded organisation get the authority from? Who is on “The Board of Directors” of the MHRA? What publicists and propagandists does it pay to frame its public pronouncements? And. perhaps most important of all, what subsidiary of the Health Department, under the control of the Chief Medical Officer (not the Minister for Health), liaises  with the mafia? AND WHY?

There are masses of legitimate questions which could be asked. But there is a problem, which is, in the spirit of the new lobbying bill, can organisations like ASH ET AL be forced, as lobbyists, to reveal all the details of their promoters and funders? Let us not forget that, in Scotland, the Ombudsman declared in favour of Japan Tobacco about Stirling University’s duty to reveal the detail of a study that it did into youth smoking. For some absolutely incredible reason, Japan Tobacco dropped its demands. One cannot help but wonder what deal was done. There must have been a deal!!!

That being the case, along with tobacco company abandonment of its customers, there is only one answer. Smokers must act in their own interests. They must disobey bad laws. OBEDIENCE is for SLAVES. However, that does not mean deliberately lighting up in pubs because that is not the law which is worth disobeying. Disobedience of THAT law will produce no effect, and will only produce difficulties for the publican. It was up to publicans to defend themselves prior to the ban. They failed to do so, therefore, they have no right to expect any loyalty from me. But that idea extends further, does it not? If the publican can regard smokers as expendable, they can also regard whiskey drinkers as expendable, especially those drinkers who like single malts. The disobedience of which I speak involves no others. It means paying as little as you possibly can in taxes, however that may be accomplished without denying yourself! That is important. You must not punish yourself in any way at all. That means that, if you want to go to the pub, do so! Do as you please. The ‘Public Health Industry’ sneaked into law, via minor, unnoticed tiny amendments, smuggled into Finance Acts and such, a VERBOTEN that people can be self-sufficient. According to the sneaked in laws, any substance rolled up into a tube is A CIGARETTE. That is what the law says. Thus, if I roll up some cotton wool inside a paper tube, it becomes a cigarette – because the cotton wool is ‘a tobacco substitute’. I think that it goes without saying that these ‘laws’ will never be enforced, other than as ‘THE NEW INQUISITION”.

===========

The complexities of the ‘New Inquisition’ are too difficult to take on one at a time. The only answer is to chop the whole tree down by defunding them. Very, very stupid people like the boy Clegg do not matter, other than that they could have the courage to chop the tree down. Some hope!

There is a simple answer, and there always has been. Tell your MP that you no longer accept him/her as your representative. Don’t ask them to do anything. Just say that you regard him/her as your enemy.

Time to stop pissing about.

——-

Here is a little tale (Leg Iron will be disgusted!). For some reason or another, I decided to try a little experiment. My thought processes were a little convoluted at the time. I suspect that I was contemplating my twenty-year love/hate relationship with Einstein’s Relativity Theory. In my little mind, I suddenly had this wonderful idea. Was I slat-at at the time? I must have been since I cannot remember the reasoning. Anyway, I DECIDED! I decided to buy a bottle of malt whiskey. I think that the idea was that, just before I retire to bed, it would be lovely to enjoy the wickedness of a tot of malt – just as a aphrodisiac,  you understand. Erm … Wrong word…. Erm …. Expletive? Emetic? Damn it … What is the word? …. Ah! “SOPORIFIC” is the word. But LI will puke at my choice, which was ‘Co-op Blended Malt”. Giggle, giggle. Come on,LI! Give me a chance! It was only £15, as compared with Glenfidich  at about £30. I have been golfing in Scotland and finished up in the hotel bar at 2 am drinking the malts recommended by the host. Don’t give me no shit. AND up at 8 am for breakfast and a 10 am tee-time. Don’t give me no shit, tosser!

You see, I am a little 74 year old man. Sure I’m fit as a fiddle with hardly an ounce of fat on me, and sure my hair is still blackish, and sure the pretty young girls think that I am kissable, and sure the young men regard me as a fount of knowledge. But am I responsible for their bad judgement?

But, in a very, very strange way (just as with my choice of malt whiskey, and my fascination with Relativity Theory), I very much DO feel responsible for the lies of Tobacco Control. And perhaps all of us SHOULD accept some responsibility. But only to a tiny, tiny extent. The MAJOR failure was in the tobacco companies, who had massive funds, but who took the short term expedient. Because of their failure, we smokers are subjected to persecution which hasn’t been seen in time immemorial. NO group of citizens, in a peaceful State, has been subjected to such persecution in the annals of mankind. Not even Prohibition was so deeply evil. Evil because of the social engineering and the demonisation of smokers.

The boy Clegg, in full view of The People, said, “Erm… Well, we are no more likely to stop hanging murderers than stop hanging smokers” For that, in reverse, is the implication of what he said. Or, you could put it another way. You could say that the implications of the juxtaposition mean: “We are just as likely to hang smokers as murderers”

That is not a fanciful idea. The boy Clegg said so. He equated relaxing the smoking ban with re-introducing capital punishment. And these are the people who are supposed to be able to control the massive potential of modern-day weapons?

I think that the People have a right to despair. But hardly any of them notice. Their ‘elected representatives’ do not represent them.

———-

I am gradually coming to the conclusion that I must look after myself and my own. I am coming to the conclusion that the Government is NOT MY FRIEND. In fact, I am coming to the conclusion that the Government IS MY ENEMY. The Conservative Party IS MY ENEMY. The Labour Party IS MY ENEMY. The Liberal party IS MY ENEMY.

But those feelings/emotions are not just emotionally based, they are also rationally based. All these groups ARE MY ENEMY because they do not THINK.

I hate them BEYOND IMAGINING.

Erm …. Excuse the vitriol. I have been reading the Surgeon General’s report.
