Well no, not exactly. But how that tobacco plant got to grow in a crack between the paving and the house wall, I do not know. In the three years since I started my hobby of baccy plant growing, I have never had a plant which got to the seeding stage, so it hasn’t originated from that source. One possibility is that, when I was seeding the propagator tray, one or more seeds stuck to my clothes and fell off outside thereabouts and was blown/washed into the crack. Or, possibly, a tiny bit of root was deposited there. Oddly enough, the last is most likely since I emptied some surplus plantlets out of their plant pots roughly in that vicinity a couple of months ago.
If the growing of tobacco plants was outlawed, would I ‘get done’? And if these things started springing up all over the place, would the owners of the various properties ‘get done’? In any case, would people know what they are?
Funnier and funnier …… Where does Dreadful live I wonder?
Update 3rd Sep.
I think that I have the answer! When I decided to do away with the plants which were growing upstairs, I took the buckets outside, fairly near to the spot and dumped the contents onto the paving before ripping out the plants and binning them. They were seeding at the time …..
